Schoolmap is an incident report platform which seeks to develop a Geographic Information System (GIS) database for schools in the conflict-ridden North-West and South-West regions of Cameroon, with emphasis on data collection in order to foster peace and security initiatives in these regions and ensuring the safety and well-being of all students and teachers by providing a user-friendly interface and tools for data analysis which will enable schools to identify areas of risk and take proactive measures to prevent incidents from occurring.

The project is sponsored by UNECA (the Client) in assistance to the government of Cameroon (the Beneficiary) and the users of the software are technical staff to exploit its data (technical users), and members of the general public (End-users) for data entry.
